When choosing nutritional supplements it is not only important to evaluate the formulation, but the manufacturing procedures as well. Unfortunately, many supplement manufactures won't share this information with the end consumer. Imprecise manufacturing procedures can lead to cross contamination, inconsistent blends, under-weight or damaged capsules, and an inferior product.
There are 1,037 nutritional manufacturing facilities in the United States. Less than ½ of 1% of the nutritional manufacturing facilities in the country match the exacting standards followed in the Växa facility. From raw material selection, to the water we clean our equipment with (details below) it is hard to match the intense attention to detail that goes into all of Växa's products.
Below are just a few of the many reasons that Växa's manufacturing procedures are some of the best in the industry.
- Raw Material selection - Our raw materials must be certified organic and we will not accept them irradiated or chemically cleaned. Once in the lab, the raw materials are retested- we do not accept the Certificate of Analysis at face value like other facilities. They are also run through a battery of other tests including an Alkalinity test, High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography, Near Infrared Scanning, and more. We also test for macro-biological contaminants such as strep, e Coli, or salmonella. These tests insure quality, purity, and potency.
- Particle Sizing for Greater Absorbency- Different raw materials come in different particle sizes; for example picture BBs, golf balls, and basketballs. Improper mixing would yield a batch with "basketballs" at the top and "BBs" at the bottom. This would mean each capsule has a different mix of ingredients. We use cold process pulverization to take all particles to the size of a "BB". The smaller particle size, the better body assimilates the elements.
- Clinical Lab Conditions- To clean our lab we use water processed through UV sterilization, carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, ozone injection, mix bed de-ionization and boiler kettling. This insures that the very water meant to clean the production line does not contaminate it.
- Precise Environmental Standards- Each room has its own air handler that completely cleans and exchanges the air 50 times per hour. Pure, clean air is a critical element in manufacturing a pure product. Many facilities just have a dust handler and rely on the air conditioning system to fight to replace the air with air from the outside. You might as well make the product in a parking lot.
- Contamination Levels- Even after all of the preliminary testing and the product has been manufactured, a macro-biological test is done to make sure that the lab didn't contaminate the product. V
